- What is a 'Pre-Wedding' Shoot?

Engagement shoots or pre wedding 'warm up' shoots are normally location shoots; either at a location that has sentimental value to you as a couple (perhaps 'where' you got engaged) or your chosen wedding venue or maybe you want to choose a location that is quite different or alternative to your wedding venue. If you are having a quaint country wedding, maybe your location for your engagement shoot would be somewhere more urban or by the sea!
I believe that the 'warm up' shoot is an essential part of the process of photographing your wedding. Most people are scared of having their photograph taken, or at the very least worried they will not love pictures of themselves. If this is you, all the more reason to consider a little painless warm up session!
My job, other than to capture your day as it unfolds, is to ensure that you are relaxed; feeling confident and beautiful in front of my lens. By the time the wedding comes around, you will feel nothing but excitement for the beautiful photos that you are going to have to remember the best day ever!
