about your WEDDING day
I'd love to hear from you, tell me all about your proposal, what you have planned for your wedding day, how you met, what your pets are called... And if you would like to meet for a coffee and a chat that would be fab!
I Love Photographing Weddings
Nearer the time of the wedding, Helen asked to meet us at the venue to have a look around together and talk more about what we hoped to see in our photos, as well as meet Tom and our girls, she wanted to make sure the girls in particular felt comfortable with her on the day. Helen took the lead (in the most loveliest of ways) and made suggestions and asked questions as we walked around the venue. It was very clear from the outset that Helen knew her profession very well and her passion for it oozed out of her.
Hanbury Wedding Barn Parsons Brake Farm, Hanbury, Staffordshire, DE13 8TN - an exciting brand new Staffordshire wedding venue, currently undergoing extensive renovation and transformation. I am super proud of this snippet of last year’s work and it makes me feel so happy looking back at all the wonderful people I have worked with.
It was my eleventh year of photographing weddings, families and newborns in Staffordshire and beyond and I worked at some fabulous rustic barn wedding venues and beautiful country house venues such as…
Each photograph takes me right back - to the first email I received from you, excited about making wedding plans and telling me a bit about yourselves. To the the first face to face meeting at my office where we nattered over a cuppa and talked mainly about anything other than photography, mostly about our pets and lost track of the time!
When Kelly and Rob first got in touch with me about their Easter wedding in Lichfield, I was so thrilled – they were planning the most relaxed and stylish wedding with an intimate ceremony, with a holiday theme (they love holidays) and on the day, even the sun showed up and made and appearance for them and that was the first day of our amazing summer of 2018!
She listens to what you want as a ‘customer’ but it’s also personal it’s not like a regular business transaction. She puts her heart and soul into her work and you can see her passion for photography in every click of the camera. I have the added pleasure of being able to call Helen a friend ...The day wouldn’t have been the same without her and she has given us precious reminders of our special day that will last a lifetime...
...Get people involved - it's great to be surrounded by people willing to help and wanting to be involved. We had the whole family, and lots of friends pitching in for our wedding and it made it so much more special to look around at everything that everyone had done to make our day the success that it was - share the load and the love! Boho, non-traditional Wedding at St Chad's Lichfield followed by a chilled out Village Hall reception and party in Colton, Staffordshire.
Kathryn and Jordan's stunning wedding was in December, days before Christmas, a stunning barn location in rural Staffordshire, decorated with stunning florals by Carrie Lucas Flowers. The entire day took place at one location, which was great, because having everything in one place meant simpler logistics and much more time for mingling and celebrating with family and friends..

Thank you for making my 2017 incredible! I have been doing this lovely job for 10 beautiful, emotional and challenging years. In that time I have become a wife, become a Mum, made our house into a home, moved into beautiful little premises on a farm, sent my son off to school, I have grown both as a person and as a photographer and I have found my 'happy'.
