HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A STAFFORDSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
11 Years and absolutely loving it! Before that I worked in a car factory within the automotive logistics sector. It was never my thing and I now adore the job that I do!
HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH PER YEAR?
I currently shoot around 25 weddings per year. With all the consultations, pre shoots, post processing and editing, family shoots and business admin, this gives me the perfect work/life balance
HOW DO YOU EDIT YOUR IMAGES?
I edit my images in my own style, I like to give my weddings quite a clean edit that will not date or go out of fashion. I have a very natural style of photography, and my editing style reflects that too. In other words, if you are looking for someone whose photographs look like film, are heavily manipulated or airbrushed or have a vintage edit, then that really is not my style I'm afraid. However, If you like the way my images look in my portfolio, then I would love to chat with you further about your wedding.
WHAT ARE YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY PRICES?
I use a simple hourly rate to work out a digital coverage and albums are priced individually, I can send you a bespoke quotation upon request.
All day wedding photography available from £1250 (based on 8 hours) For Shorter coverage Friday - Sunday Weddings From £175 per hour and Monday to Thursday Weddings from £150 per hour (April - October minimum 5 hours).
DO YOU TAKE A DEPOSIT?
A £350 booking fee secures me to be your wedding photographer and this is deducted from the final balance which will be invoiced approximately 8 weeks before the wedding day

HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR DIGITAL IMAGES?
You will receive an online gallery to share with family and friends and also the full resolution images supplied on a USB
WORRIED ABOUT HAVING YOUR PHOTOGRAPH TAKEN?
That's okay, don't worry! Most people really dislike being photographed, me included. It is my job to get you into your comfort zone and be relaxed, let this be my concern, I promise we can change your mindset and you will love your wedding photographs.
By nature I am placid and calming, I work in a way that enables me to blend in and work unobtrusively. Your guests will know I am there, but not ‘in their face’ - I have been often complimented by guests on my sympathetic approach. Because you will be so comfortable in my presence, your guests might even wonder how long we have been friends!
Client experience and satisfaction is what drives me to be the best I can be, I care about my clients, your journey of how you met and also your story going forward.
HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING CAN WE EXPECT TO SEE OUR IMAGES?
I like to give my couples a sneak preview within 48 hours of their wedding and full galleries within 3-5 weeks, during busy times I am on it!! I don't like keeping my clients waiting too long
DO YOU WORK WITH A SECOND SHOOTER OR ASSISTANT?
I mainly work alone, but if you request a second shooter I can hire one of my amazing colleagues at an extra charge of £250 for 4 hours for the main part of the day
I do offer a special weekday wedding rate of £150 per hour, if you are having an intimate or low key wedding that requires only a few hours coverage or are planning an elopement please get in touch I would love to hear from you
CAN YOU RECOMMEND A VIDEOGRAPHER?

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD WE ALLOCATE FOR PHOTOS?
Due to my relaxed style, we only 'allocate' time for a few group shots (about 15 minutes) & about 15-25 minutes during the whole day to capture portraits which does not have to happen all at once, we can decide on the best times for portraits to ensure you have as much time with your guests. If you need help I can advise on wedding day timelines.
Each wedding, each couple, each family is unique, therefore no wedding will ever be the same. I do not work under the restriction of lengthy ‘must have’ shot lists. I prefer to catch what unfolds throughout the day.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE ILL ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
This is a question that people often ask and it is a very valid one. Firstly I would like to emphasise that the very last thing I would want to do is let my clients down and I would need to be extremely ill to not make your wedding. However, 'What If?' you ask. Then I do have extremely good connections with other photographers, who will gladly offer support to each other in these sorts of situations and I am part of an emergency group who will also help. I would firstly seek a replacement to photograph the wedding on my behalf or I would seek to hire a replacement photographer to photograph your day and take on the booking in full. You would of course be entitled to a full refund if illness prevented me from being able to meet my contractual obligations.
WHAT IF YOUR CAMERA BREAKS?
I don't carry just one camera with me at a wedding, I will always have a second camera that I am photographing with throughout the day. Both my cameras are professional level Canon 5D Markiii's which have a dual card slot, which means that the images are being recorded to two memory cards when I take each shot. Nothing is 100% fail safe, but again I take all the precautions to ensure the images are as safe as they can be and then backed up sufficiently and safely once I return from the wedding. I also carry many different lenses and Flash guns so I always have my back up equipment close to hand, just in case.

Absolutely, yes I am! For my peace of mind and yours, I am insured with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance through Aaduki Multimedia Insurance.
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
