A Couples Shoot on Good Friday at Newstead Abbey in Nottingham
Early on Friday morning, I set off to Nottingham and for a day at least it appeared as though summer might have arrived. It was a glorious morning at the beautiful Newstead Abbey, where I met with Harry and Hannah for their pre wedding warm up shoot in preparation for their wedding at The Ashes Exclusive Country House Wedding Venue next week. We chose to meet in Nottingham, because I have been very lucky to already photograph many lovely weddings at The Ashes. We wanted somewhere with beautiful backdrops and Newstead was perfect, the weather was even more so!
It has been quite a few months since we first met last year, but I think both Hannah and Harry agreed how valuable the pre wedding shoot has been. We had a giggle and lots of laughs as we walked around the stunning grounds of the Abbey, we talked a lot and we made some really lovely images too!
All my couples receive a complimentary pre-wedding couples shoot as part of their wedding photography package, because I believe it's such an important and valuable part of the wedding photography experience. It's daunting for couples to begin with, but usually within about 10-15 minutes I can visibly see the nerves quickly disappearing, replaced by a new confidence in front of the camera. I am so grateful my couples put their trust in me to capture such wonderful moments for them. I am looking forward to sharing lots of beautiful weddings and family shoots throughout 2016!
If you would like talk to me about your wedding photography, or a family or newborn photography session please get in touch via the website and we can have a chat about creating some wonderful images for you.
